BY4AE Hengsha Island

BY4AE – Hengsha Island, AS-136

A large group consisting of BD4DYH, BD4CB, BD4CD, BD4CQ, BD4AOU, BD4GNV, BG4FRZ, BH4AYG, BH4BKF, BH4BUI, BH4CAC, BH4CNN, OH7WV, DF9LJ and some others will be QRV from Hengsha Island AS-136 from 30 July – 1 August on 160-10m using SSB, CW and DIGI. This will include a Multi 2 entry in the 2016 RSBG IOTA contest as BY4AE. QSL via BD4DYH. Before and after contest, they will be signing B4/homecall. QSL’s via Homecalls. 2 stations will be QRV using amps. They will use Loops and Verticals, and low band RX ANT.

During the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend (August 19-21), look for ZS9V to be active from Robben Island, AF-064. Two stations with Inverted V and TH3 antennas and 500W amplifier. QSL via LoTW.

TL8AO – Central African Republic

Ken, LA7GIA informs DX-World of plans to be active from C.A.R

I have obtained authorization to operate as TL8AO in the Central African Republic. So I plan to go to Bangui as a single-op in 2016 and mainly do some CW. TL is ranked 50 WW mixed and 20 on cw. This will be similar to my 7Q, D6 and 3C activities – except this time I will be on 80m as well. More details later.

Ken, LA7GIA informe DX-World des plans pour être actif à partir de C.A.R

Je l’ai obtenu l’autorisation de fonctionner comme TL8AO en République centrafricaine. Donc, je prévois d’aller à Bangui comme une seule-op en 2016 et surtout faire quelques CW. TL est classé 50 WW mixte et 20 sur cw. Ce sera semblable à mon 7Q, D6 et 3C activités – sauf que cette fois je serai sur 80m ainsi. Plus de détails plus tard.

The Japan Amateur Radio Development Association (JARD) was established in 1991, and to celebrate its Silver Jubilee, look for JD1YBV from Chichijima Island (AS-031) between August 23-28, 2016. Activity will be on 40-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via Bureau or SAE+IRC/2USD direct to JA1HQG.
