From October 17 to November 7, 2016, look for Philippe F1DUZ to be active from Guadeloupe as FG4KH. QRV on HF bands, SSB + activity on 6m/2m EME. Participation also in CQ WW DX SSB contest.
Note: Philippe will be returning to Guadeloupe from February 24 to March 26, 2017.

Source de l’infosJust over a week after it was announced that the VK0/M research station was to close in 2017, a decision by the Australian Federal Government has reversed the closure.
After three days of outcry from the scientific community and state and federal politicians, Federal Environment and Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg said the 68-year-old station would continue year-round operations.
Un peu plus d’une semaine après il a été annoncé que la VK0/M research station was to close in 2017, une décision prise par le gouvernement fédéral australien a inversé la fermeture.
Après trois jours de protestations de la communauté scientifique et les politiciens provinciaux et fédéraux, Environnement fédéral et ministre de l’Énergie Josh Frydenberg dit le 68-year-old station continuera l’activités toute l’année.
