NEWS UPDATE – Agreed start date of the expedition – February 14, 2017.
June 5, 2016 – Team RT9K are now underway with planning their next major IOTA DXpedition scheduled for February-March 2017. Depending on weather and ice conditions they hope to be active from the following islands:
Up to three stations QRV on 40-10m; CW/SSB/Digi. QSL via RX9KM.

Charles, W7AUM is currently on an expedition cruise (National Geographic Explorer) until November 29, 2016. He has with him an Elecraft KX3 transceiver and KXPA100 amplifier.
Operating intermittently as W7AUM/C6A/MM from the ship’s bridge with 100 watts and a vertical (already installed on the ship) on November 9, 10, 13,14, 20, 21, 28, 29.
QRV as VP8DPK from the Falklands and South Georgia, he will try and operate QRP from the Falklands on November 11 and 12 and operate from South Georgia November 15-19. He will also operate from Antarctica as W7AUM/P November 22-26.

Fonctionnant par intermittence comme W7AUM/C6A/MM à partir du pont du navire avec 100 watts et une verticale (déjà installée sur le navire) les 9, 10, 13, 14, 20, 21, 28, 29.
QRV comme VP8DPK Des Falklands et de la Géorgie du Sud, il tentera d’exploiter QRP des Malouines les 11 et 12 novembre et opérera de la Géorgie du Sud du 15 au 19 novembre. Il opérera également à partir de l’Antarctique comme W7AUM/P du 22 au 26 novembre.

Craig, VK5CE updates DX-World readers on exciting plans to activate the super rare OC-198 IOTA group in early November 2017.
Operating as VK5CE/8, he will be active from North Island, part of the Sir Edward Pellew Group in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Territory.
This will be one of my most adventurous and exciting one man DXpeditions ever. I’ve been trying to bring this on the air since 2011 and so I can’t wait to get on the air.

En utilisant l’indicatif VK5CE/8, Il sera actif de l’Île du Nord, une partie du Groupe Sir Edward Pellew dans le Golfe de Carpentaria, Territoire du Nord
Ce sera l’un de mes DXpeditions les plus aventureux et excitants jamais. J’ai essayé d’apporter cela sur l’air depuis 2011 et donc je ne peux pas attendre pour obtenir sur l’air.
