FT-891 de chez YEASU par ON5AM/ON5VL!
Le Yaesu FT-891 est le plus petit et le plus léger émetteur-récepteur de 100W HF jamais construit, ses dimensions 155x52x218mm et son poids 1,9 kg.
Il couvre de 30kHz à 56MHz en réception et transmet dans les bandes amateurs de 160m à 6m avec sortie de 100W.
Il a son 1er IF à 69.450MHz et son DSP est balancé sous 32 bits. Son architecture est très similaire au Yaesu FT-991, il dispose en outre d’un grand écran LCD rétro-éclairé et l’affichage est amovible qui seront certainement les grands points de vente comme le gros bouton de réglage.Yaesu ayant compris ses erreurs passées veut à tout pris frapper fort…..

Welcome to the brand new DX-World website. Hopefully you will like. Regular readers will know the previous site was quite simply becoming old. It was unresponsive on smart phones or tablets, and towards the end you probably saw there were issues with host/server. Glad to report that particular host has been discarded and DX-World is now running on a dedicated server with new trusted host.
The main idea is the same – to publish up to date DX news and snippets – and to continue being a free to read publication.
Those who like discussion will hopefully be keen to visit the new DX-World Forums. While the plan is to have the bulk of comments now appearing in the Forums, you may still leave comments on the main website. However, the Forums are now set up for you to explore and get involved. A simple registration is required then you can start to post topics on anything from IOTA, QSLs, LoTW, DXpeditions etc. Or you may prefer to post videos, audio recordings, upload QSL card scans. Really, the Forums are to be embraced and hopefully something good can come of them.
At this moment in time, Forum moderators/admins are sought on a volunteer basis. Interested to join the DX-World team?
As with all new websites, initial teething problems may occur. Happy to receive feedback and further ideas you have. DX-World is for you, the DX enthusiast.
While it’s not a remit to seek donations at every opportunity, the new DX-World website, coupled with the Forum, is expensive to run and maintain. If you would like to donate any amount, it would be most gratefully received. Thank you in advance.

Bienvenue sur le site DX-World flambant neuf. Nous espérons que vous aimerez. Les lecteurs réguliers sauront le site précédent était tout simplement de plus en plus vieux. The countdown is on; just 60 days ‘til activation. Procurement of final materials and supplies is in process and being shipped to team member K8LEE – Wayne.
Wayne and Jay-K4ZLE will rent a cargo van for transport of most of the gear to our staging area in Canada departing their homes around 12 August. Phil, VA3QR will be driving to the staging area with the generators and several other items. And, lastly Murray, WA4DAN will also drive to Dingwall, Canada with several yagi’s. Other team members will be flying.
The team is excited and looking forward to a very inclusive operation, i.e, satellite, 2 meter EME, RTTY, CW, SSB. We also have plans to include working Tech and General Class. We appreciate the visits to our website and those who have taken the “NEED SURVEY”.
We are gearing up to assure we meet the band and mode needs expressed, as well as, concentrating on successful contacts on the long and difficult propagation paths to various locations in Oceania, Japan, India, Asiatic Russia, western USA and VE, etc. Our thanks for the financial support; that helps greatly on the upfront cost of the dxpedition.

Gerben, PG5M has announced that he will be operating from Macao as XX9TGM (call confirmed on arrival) between June 20-27, 2016.
It is difficult to find a suitable spot for operation from Macau and previous DXpeditions had quite some trouble as they were surrounded by mountains, except in southern direction and on top of that there could also be heavy local QRM. I have choosen for a different, but more expensive location; Grand Coloane Resort. This hotel should have better radiation to all directions but I still need to explore after arrival how to install the antennas. I will use a vertical wire with 1:4:9 balun and perhaps a vertical dipole with open feeder line (design DJ0IP). Radio will be Elecraft K3 with 100 Watts. Operation will be from 40-10 meters including WARC and CW only. Perhaps I may also try 80 meters.

[Rappel] XX9TGM – Macao
Gerben, PG5M a annoncé qu’il sera opérationnel à partir de Macao XX9TGM (Appel a confirmé à l’arrivée) du 20 au 27 Juin 2016.
Il est difficile de trouver un endroit approprié pour le fonctionnement de Macao et DXpeditions précédents avaient assez peu de mal car ils étaient entourés de montagnes, sauf en direction du sud et sur le dessus de cela, il pourrait aussi être QRM locale lourde. Je l’ai choisi pour un autre emplacement, mais plus cher; Grand-Coloane Resort. Cet hôtel devrait avoir un meilleur rayonnement dans toutes les directions, mais je dois encore explorer après l’arrivée à l’installation des antennes. Je vais utiliser un fil vertical avec 1: 4: 9 balun et peut-être un dipôle vertical avec ligne d’alimentation ouverte (conception DJ0IP). Radio sera Elecraft K3 avec 100 Watts. Opération sera de 40-10 mètres incluant CAMR et CW seulement. Peut-être que je peux aussi essayer de 80 mètres.

Operation of 1U4UN Amateur Radio Station from Kingdom Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil by HRM King Dmitri I.
Operation took place in Kingdom Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil border line point near Bartazuga Mountain from April, 19 until April, 20 2016 and consisted more than 1,500 QSO’s from what used to be a no-man’s land Bir Tawil, landlocked between Sudan and Egypt.
This is not disputed area, this is not demilitarized zone, this land is claimed by Dmitry Zhikharev on December, 17 2014
1U prefix was chosen with respect to ITU Radio Regulations (Article 19 and Appendix 42). Frequencies allocation for Amateur Radio services in Kingdom Mediæ Terræ Bir Tawil follow the ITU R1 allocation with respect to Region 1 bandplan including, but not limited to RR 5.67B and RR 5.80A Recommendations

Opération de 1U4UN Amateur Radio Station du Royaume Middle-earth Bir Tawil par HRM King Dmitri I.
Opération a eu lieu dans le Royaume Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil point de ligne de frontière près de Bartazuga Montagne d’Avril, 19 jusqu’à Avril, 20 2016 et est composée de plus de 1500 QSO de ce qui était autrefois une terre sans homme Bir Tawil, enclavé entre le Soudan et l’Egypte.
Ce ne sont pas la zone contestée, ce n’est pas zone démilitarisée, cette terre est revendiquée par Dmitry Zhikharev sur Décembre 17 2014
préfixe 1U a été choisi par rapport au Règlement des radiocommunications (UIT article 19 et à l’annexe 42).
