[REMINDER] XX9TGM – Macao

Gerben, PG5M has announced that he will be operating from Macao as XX9TGM (call confirmed on arrival) between June 20-27, 2016.

It is difficult to find a suitable spot for operation from Macau and previous DXpeditions had quite some trouble as they were surrounded by mountains, except in southern direction and on top of that there could also be heavy local QRM. I have choosen for a different, but more expensive location; Grand Coloane Resort. This hotel should have better radiation to all directions but I still need to explore after arrival how to install the antennas. I will use a vertical wire with 1:4:9 balun and perhaps a vertical dipole with open feeder line (design DJ0IP). Radio will be Elecraft K3 with 100 Watts. Operation will be from 40-10 meters including WARC and CW only. Perhaps I may also try 80 meters.

Gerben, PG5M a annoncé qu’il sera opérationnel à partir de Macao XX9TGM (Appel a confirmé à l’arrivée) du 20 au 27 Juin 2016.

Il est difficile de trouver un endroit approprié pour le fonctionnement de Macao et DXpeditions précédents avaient assez peu de mal car ils étaient entourés de montagnes, sauf en direction du sud et sur le dessus de cela, il pourrait aussi être QRM locale lourde. Je l’ai choisi pour un autre emplacement, mais plus cher; Grand-Coloane Resort. Cet hôtel devrait avoir un meilleur rayonnement dans toutes les directions, mais je dois encore explorer après l’arrivée à l’installation des antennes. Je vais utiliser un fil vertical avec 1: 4: 9 balun et peut-être un dipôle vertical avec ligne d’alimentation ouverte (conception DJ0IP). Radio sera Elecraft K3 avec 100 Watts. Opération sera de 40-10 mètres incluant CAMR et CW seulement. Peut-être que je peux aussi essayer de 80 mètres.

Operation of 1U4UN Amateur Radio Station from Kingdom Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil by HRM King Dmitri I.

Operation took place in Kingdom Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil border line point near Bartazuga Mountain from April, 19 until April, 20 2016 and consisted more than 1,500 QSO’s from what used to be a no-man’s land Bir Tawil, landlocked between Sudan and Egypt.

This is not disputed area, this is not demilitarized zone, this land is claimed by Dmitry Zhikharev on December, 17 2014

1U prefix was chosen with respect to ITU Radio Regulations (Article 19 and Appendix 42). Frequencies allocation for Amateur Radio services in Kingdom Mediæ Terræ Bir Tawil follow the ITU R1 allocation with respect to Region 1 bandplan including, but not limited to RR 5.67B and RR 5.80A Recommendations

Opération de 1U4UN Amateur Radio Station du Royaume Middle-earth Bir Tawil par HRM King Dmitri I.

Opération a eu lieu dans le Royaume Mediae Terrae Bir Tawil point de ligne de frontière près de Bartazuga Montagne d’Avril, 19 jusqu’à Avril, 20 2016 et est composée de plus de 1500 QSO de ce qui était autrefois une terre sans homme Bir Tawil, enclavé entre le Soudan et l’Egypte.

Ce ne sont pas la zone contestée, ce n’est pas zone démilitarisée, cette terre est revendiquée par Dmitry Zhikharev sur Décembre 17 2014

préfixe 1U a été choisi par rapport au Règlement des radiocommunications (UIT article 19 et à l’annexe 42). Fréquences allocation pour les services de radio amateur en France Mediae Terræ Bir Tawil suivre l’allocation UIT R1 par rapport à la Région 1 bandplan y compris, mais sans s’y limiter RR 5.67b et RR 5.80A Recommandations
