NEWS UPDATE – The team is in good shape and installed all antennas last Friday: 2 light weight Spiderbeams, one 30 m vertical , one 40 m vertical, a simple 80 m dipole at a palm tree and a 4 element for 6 m. We also tested a vertical dipole against spider beam and found the Spiderbeam simply better.

Le propriétaire de Villa Amal parle allemand et anglais. Il permet une tente de la station dans le jardin tropical bien entretenu. Autour de la piscine est place pour plusieurs antennes. conditions de la bande sont à la recherche un peu étrange pour nous. Stations de l’Europe et le Japon sont souvent fortes. Mais parfois, toutes les bandes sont fermées ou montrent seulement des signaux faibles. Le niveau de QRN et le bruit est élevé. Lowbands ne débouchent pas bien avant minuit.
